Hybrid Art Fair partners with Raum E116 to participate in Parallel Vienna. Raum E116 presents a selection of painting, sculpture and photography, bringing together different approaches and mediums, and merging them in a caleidoscopic view.

Hybrid Art Fair is a dynamic event offering an atypical exhibition programme based on experimental practices and site-specific projects. The fair offers a range of local and international independent proposals and is a recognised springboard for emerging artists.

The exhibition project of the Raum E116 gallery and atelier for the Hybrid Art Fair 2022 edition revolves around the dialogue, tensions and contrasts between the different artistic styles and techniques of the works presented, building a diverse and plural creative universe that seeks to appeal to disparate subjectivities and audiences.
The proposal contrasts the restrained and conceptual palette of Marrero with the vibrant and pop color of Guirao, the intricate geometric line of Nieto with the rotundity of the masses of color and the raw gesture of Roura, or the documentary-like realism of Frutos with the more expressionist and dreamlike visions of Vallejo;
The set proposes a journey from minimalist landscapes to organic compositions, from video art to emulsion. A proposal apparently heterogeneous but that drinks from common artistic and vital experiences, and ends up working as a whole.
El proyecto expositivo de la galería y atelier Raum E116 para la edición de Hybrid Art Fair 2022 gira en torno al diálogo, las tensiones y los contrastes que se dan entre los distintos estilos y técnicas artísticas de las obras presentadas, construyendo un universo creativo diverso y plural, que busca apelar a subjetividades y públicos dispares.
La propuesta contrapone la paleta contenida y conceptual de Marrero con el color vibrante y pop de Guirao, la intrincada línea geométrica de Nieto con la rotundidad de las masas de color y el gesto crudo de Roura, o el realismo de corte documental de Frutos con las visiones más expresionistas y oníricas de Vallejo;
El conjunto plantea un viaje de paisajes minimalistas a composiciones orgánicas, del videoarte y la emulsión a la cola de conejo. Una propuesta aparentemente heterogénea pero que bebe de experiencias artísticas y vitales comunes, y termina funcionando como un todo.

Hybrid Art Fair is an International Contemporary Art Fair showcasing exhibition projects from art galleries, but also from alternative art spaces, such as non-profit spaces, project spaces and artist-run initiatives.
The fair takes place in an unusual setting – the bedrooms of a hotel – and features a transdisciplinary programme of activities, offering visitors a different experience.
