Vallejo's refreshing and colorful proposal, navigating between abstraction and figuration, surrounds us in a dance where gesture and stain dialogue, filling and surpassing the canvas.
Magical Costumbrismo
Guirao presents a series of paintings and graphic works full of light and vitality, where she treats with a sincere look themes from the imaginary to the everyday life, combining contemporary and traditional techniques.
The infinite line
Nieto explores, in a geometric tour de force, and using only the line, from arcane numbers and hidden meanings, to mathematical expressions and constellations of stars.
The wave frozen in time
Marrero takes us to dreamlike worlds through experimentation with photographic emulsion and printing techniques such as cyanotype, finding with an accurate look immanent moments in small details of everyday life.
Digital intimacies
Frutos' proposal, based on archival documents, found images or her own experiences, speaks of the public and the private, memory, strangeness, curiosity and desire.

La refrescante y colorida propuesta de Vallejo, navegando entre la abstracción y la figuración, nos envuelve en una danza donde dialogan gesto y mancha llenando y sobrepasando el lienzo.

Guirao presenta una serie de pintura y obra gráfica llena de luz y vitalidad, donde trata con una mirada sincera temas desde lo imaginario a lo costumbrista, combinando técnicas contemporáneas y tradicionales.
La línea infinita
Nieto explora, en un tour de force geométrico y valiéndose sólo de la línea, desde números arcanos y significados ocultos, hasta expresiones matemáticas y constelaciones de estrellas.
La ola congelada en el tiempo
Marrero nos traslada a mundos oníricos a través de la experimentación con emulsión fotográfica y técnicas de impresión como la cianotipia, encontrando con mirada certera momentos inmanentes en pequeños detalles de la vida diaria.

La propuesta de Frutos, partiendo de documentos de archivo, imágenes encontradas o experiencias propias, nos habla de lo público y lo privado, la memoria, la extrañeza, la curiosidad y el deseo.

The exhibition project of Atelier-Galería Raum E116 for Hybrid Art Fair 2023 revolves around the dialogue and tensions between the different styles, discourses and techniques of the participating artists, building a diverse and plural creative universe that seeks to bring together different subjectivities.
The proposal contrasts the restrained and conceptual palette of Marrero with the vibrant and pop color of Guirao, the intricate geometric line of Nieto and the documentary realism of Frutos with the more expressionist and dreamlike visions of Vallejo.
At first glance, the group presents a heterogeneous proposal, but one that draws from common artistic and life experiences. A journey from minimalist landscapes to organic compositions, from video art and emulsion to easel painting, collage and textile design.
El proyecto expositivo del Atelier-Galería Raum E116 para la edición de Hybrid Art Fair 2023 gira en torno al diálogo y las tensiones que se dan entre los distintos estilos, discursos y técnicas de los artistas participantes, construyendo un universo creativo diverso y plural, que busca aunar diferentes subjetividades.
La propuesta contrapone la paleta contenida y conceptual de Marrero con el color vibrante y pop de Guirao, la intrincada línea geométrica de Nieto y el realismo de corte documental de Frutos con las visiones más expresionistas y oníricas de Vallejo.
El conjunto plantea una propuesta a primera vista heterogénea pero que bebe de experiencias artísticas y vitales comunes. Un viaje de paisajes minimalistas a composiciones orgánicas, del videoarte y la emulsión a la pintura de caballete, el collage y el diseño textil.

Hybrid Art Fair is an International Contemporary Art Fair showcasing exhibition projects from art galleries, but also from alternative art spaces, such as non-profit spaces, project spaces and artist-run initiatives.
The fair takes place in an unusual setting – the bedrooms of a hotel – and features a transdisciplinary programme of activities, offering visitors a different experience.
